Vance Doubles Down On Trump Support
Vice President J.D. Vance recently praised President Trump’s aggressive and energetic approach to his second term, emphasizing the rapid and decisive actions taken by the new administration just days into office. In an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Vance highlighted Trump’s unmatched work ethic and stamina, contrasting it with the more sluggish pace of the previous administration.
Vance noted that Trump’s leadership style was characterized by constant engagement, even late into the night, where the president would frequently call people at 1 a.m. to discuss policy matters or check in on their personal lives. “There’s something incredibly energetic about him, and you really need that kind of drive when dealing with the sprawling bureaucracy of the federal government,” Vance explained. He continued by emphasizing that Trump operates with a “gas, no brakes” mentality, an approach that’s been crucial in the early days of the administration and one that is likely to continue throughout his second term.
In the interview, Vance also took a direct shot at former President Biden and his administration, claiming that the Trump team had already accomplished more in its first week than Biden’s entire four years in office. “The things we’re doing are actually benefiting the country, whereas the policies under the previous administration often did the opposite,” Vance said. He went on to point out how shocking it is to the political establishment in Washington that Trump is not only willing to engage with the press but also directly with the American people, marking a stark departure from Biden’s less accessible style.
As for his own role, Vance discussed the importance of his duties as vice president, acknowledging the gravity of the responsibility should he ever be called to step into the president’s role. However, he expressed confidence in Trump’s health and security, emphasizing that the administration is in good hands. Vance concluded that Trump’s leadership and vigor will continue to serve the American people well over the next four years.
