Republicans Declare War On Fox
Former White House chief strategist and Trump ally Steve Bannon unloaded on Fox News at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and said that they have gotten away with disrespecting Donald Trump for far too long.
Bannon targeted both Fox News and it’s owner Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch for continuing to push Trump-hate simply because they he no longer liked him.
According to The Hill, Bannon unleashed on Fox News saying, “Note to Fox News senior management: When Donald J. Trump talks, it’s newsworthy.”
Bannon the blasted Fox News for cutting away from Donald Trump when he was announcing his 2024 run in November mid-speech saying, “Is there really that much going on at two in the afternoon on Fox News that you can’t cover him live. They don’t respect you, read the depositions. They have a fear, a loathing and a contempt for you.”
He then doubled down on Fox and warned them that they won’t have a network if they continue to try and sabotage Trump saying, “Murdoch, you’ve deemed Trump’s not going to be president. Well, we’ve deemed that you’re not going to have a network, because we’re going to fight you every step of the way.”
Fox News needs to get with the program if they expect to keep their loyal conservative viewer base. Republican voters don’t depend on Fox News, Fox News depends on them.
