Biden’s Health Continues To Get Worse
Biden has to step down now.
Air Force One’s boarding procedure has garnered attention due to adjustments made to accommodate President Joe Biden’s mobility concerns, as highlighted in a recent report by special counsel Robert Hur. According to The New York Times, Biden now opts for a shorter ladder when embarking on the presidential aircraft, with a Secret Service agent stationed at the base for assistance.
The decision to utilize the shorter ladder followed an incident during a summer commencement ceremony where Biden stumbled over a sandbag. This incident compounded several other trips and falls throughout the previous year, as reported by the Washington Examiner.
Air Force One provides two options for boarding: a longer ladder, allowing entry at a higher point on the aircraft, and a shorter one facilitating access to the plane’s lower section. Former President Donald Trump, aged 70 upon his election in 2016, also preferred the shorter ladder, especially in adverse weather conditions.
The revelation about Biden’s choice of stairs coincided with Hur’s February 5 report, which found instances of mishandling classified documents by the president. Hur indicated that while Biden’s actions warranted scrutiny, prosecution wasn’t pursued due to the perception he projected as an elderly individual with a sympathetic demeanor and poor memory, a characterization the White House refuted.
Biden, the oldest serving president, is vying for reelection this autumn. If successful, he would be 86 by the conclusion of his second term. Meanwhile, at 77 years old, Trump leads the pack in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.
Following the release of Hur’s report, Biden experienced a mix-up during a speech, mistakenly referencing “Mitterrand from Germany” during the G7 conference in England in 2021. Given that former French President Francois Mitterrand passed away in 1996, Biden likely intended to mention current French President Emmanuel Macron.
Later, during a press conference addressing Hur’s report, Biden incorrectly referred to Abdel Fatah El-Sisi, the president of Egypt, as the President of Mexico while discussing humanitarian aid access in the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
