Trump Says He Doesn't Need To Debate Republicans, You Agree?

Biden’s Low Blow Against MAGA Republicans

On Friday, during a reception for the Democratic National Committee, President Biden gave a speech in which he expressed that individuals who identify as “MAGA Republicans” are working to reverse the advancements that have been achieved in the United States.

According to Fox, just days after announcing his intention to seek re-election in 2024, President Biden made remarks in Washington, D.C. during a speech at a Democratic National Committee reception, in which he accused “MAGA Republicans” of attempting to undo the progress made in the United States.

In his speech on Friday, he highlighted his achievements as President, which included enacting legislation such as the CHIPS and Science Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, and the American Rescue Plan, along with the introduction of bipartisan infrastructure and gun reform laws. Additionally, he drew attention to his historic appointment of Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, who became the first black woman to hold this position. He also emphasized that his administration has succeeded in “reestablishing America’s leadership in the world.”

“We restored America’s standing on the world stage,” Biden insisted.

During his speech, the President accused “MAGA Republicans” of posing a threat to American democracy and freedoms. This was a clear reference to former President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan. It’s worth noting that Trump has already announced his candidacy for the upcoming presidential election.

Biden smeared Republicans and said, “MAGA Republicans are trying to take us backwards. But together, we’re not going to let them do it. Not an inch back. Instead, our agenda is going to continue to bring us forward and build on the progress we made. And we must finish this job.”

Biden then said, “Let’s keep growing the economy from the middle out and the bottom up. Let’s protect a woman’s right to choose and codify Roe v. Wade. Let’s protect our children from gun violence by continuing to work to eliminate assault weapons. And let’s keep lowering the prescription drug cost not just for those on Medicare, but for all Americans.”

In his speech, President Biden cautioned that the “real problem” lies with “MAGA Republicans,” who he claims make up 30 percent of the Republican Party. He went on to assert that this is not the same Republican Party that existed in previous generations, stating that “this is not your father’s Republican Party.”
