Michael Whatley, the Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair, has articulated the committee’s firm commitment to actively engage in overseeing the early voting process for the upcoming November elections. Emphasizing the imperative of being “in the room” during crucial ballot casting and counting procedures, Whatley underscored the RNC’s dedication to safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process.
In an interview with radio host John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats Roundtable,” Whatley outlined the RNC’s multifaceted approach. He emphasized collaborating with state legislatures, election boards, and secretaries of states to ensure the establishment of robust electoral frameworks across the nation. This proactive engagement extends to legal recourse, with Whatley affirming the RNC’s readiness to litigate if necessary. Already, the committee has initiated 80 lawsuits spanning 24 states, aimed at reinforcing election regulations conducive to fair and transparent outcomes.
Central to the RNC’s strategy is the deployment of a formidable legal apparatus comprising “thousands” of attorneys, strategically positioned to oversee the voting and counting processes.
