Dem Governor Flips On Biden, Endorses Trump
In an unexpected turn of events, California’s Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom warned President Biden against reversing former President Donald Trump’s border policies because California is on the verge of “breaking” due to illegal immigration.
According to Fox, President Biden is planning to repeal Trump’s Title 42 which has easily allowed border officers to quickly remove illegal immigrants from the United States.
Newsom stated, “The fact is, what we’ve got right now is not working and is about to break in a post-42 world unless we take some responsibility and ownership.”
Newsom then said, “I’m saying that as a father. I’m saying that as someone that feels responsible for being part of the solution and I’m trying to do my best here.”
California’s Governor then complained that Biden’s government was sending “more and more” illegals to the state because he was being responsible and “taking care of folks.”
“The more we do, the burden is placed disproportionate on us,” Newsom added.
“We’re already at capacity at nine of our sites,” Newsom added. “We can’t continue to fund all of these sites because of the budgetary pressures now being placed on this state and the offsetting issues that I have to address.… The reality is, unless we’re doing what we’re doing, people will end up on the streets.”
It’s funny to see how quickly the narrative changes. Could you ever have imagined that Pelosi’s Nephew Gavin Newsom would actually call on Biden to make the border more secure? Newsom must really be running for the presidency in 2024.
