Is Kamala Scared To Debate On Fox Like GOP Says?

Tom Cotton Humiliates Kamala Like Never Before

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) recently criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s ability to address the security issues at the southern border, likening her promises to the ill-fated pursuit of justice by O.J. Simpson. Cotton’s comments, made on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, draw a stark comparison between Harris’s assurances and Simpson’s high-profile but ultimately unsuccessful quest to find “the real killer” after being acquitted in 1995 for the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman.

Cotton argued that Harris, along with President Joe Biden, has failed to secure the border, leading to significant national security and public safety concerns. He recalled Harris’s prior commitments during her presidential campaign, where she advocated for decriminalizing illegal immigration, granting mass amnesty, and providing taxpayer-funded healthcare to illegal immigrants. According to Cotton, these promises have led to a chaotic border situation under the Biden administration, with increased gang activity and illegal operations spilling over into American cities.

He highlighted the troubling impact on communities like Springfield, Ohio—a town of approximately 50,000 residents that has seen an influx of 20,000 migrants in recent years. Cotton pointed out that this surge has put severe pressure on local resources, including emergency services and public schools. For instance, he noted that Springfield’s emergency rooms are overwhelmed, and the local schools have spent over $400,000 on translation services, funds that could have supported other essential community needs.

Cotton criticized media outlets for labeling Springfield residents as “racists” for voicing concerns about the migrant situation, including unverified reports of Haitian migrants consuming local wildlife. He stressed that these reports should be investigated thoroughly rather than dismissed, reflecting a broader concern about the administration’s immigration policies.

Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), Trump’s 2024 running mate, echoed Cotton’s concerns, calling for an investigation into the impacts of the migrant influx on Springfield and other affected communities. In response to the situation, Governor Mike DeWine (R-OH) announced new state support for Springfield, including enhanced patrols and funding for English language education for migrants. However, DeWine’s support for the controversial program that contributed to the influx has drawn scrutiny.

Overall, Cotton and Vance’s statements underscore a call for stricter immigration controls and greater accountability from the Biden administration to address the issues arising from the current border policies.
