Haley Surges Ahead of Trump in Swing State Showdowns with Biden: Survey Results

Emerging as a formidable contender in the presidential race, GOP candidate Nikki Haley is outshining former President Trump in prospective swing state battles against President Biden for the 2024 election, a recent poll indicates.

The New York Times/Siena College survey of registered voters reveals that both Haley and Trump are ahead of Biden in pivotal battleground states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Notably, Trump is behind in Wisconsin, where Biden leads.

Former Governor of South Carolina, Haley, has demonstrated a stronger lead over Biden in four of the six states compared to Trump. She boasts a 7-point advantage in Arizona over Biden, where Trump leads by 5 points. Michigan sees Haley with a significant 10-point lead, doubling Trump’s 5-point margin. In Pennsylvania, her lead extends to 10 points, with Trump at 4 points. Wisconsin presents a striking contrast, with Haley leading by 13 points while Trump lags by 2 points behind Biden.
