VIDEO: Pence Accuses Trump Of This
Former Vice President Mike Pence has once again thrown former President Donald Trump under the bus and is now claiming that Trump was fully apart of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot because of a “reckless” tweet he sent out.
According to The Hill, at 2:24 p.m. on January 6th Trump tweeted, “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution.”
Pence responded to the tweet during a new interview with ABC’s David Muir.
Pence said, “It angered me. But I turned to my daughter who was standing nearby, and I said, ‘It doesn’t take courage to break the law, it takes courage to uphold the law.’ ”
“And the president’s words were reckless. It’s clear he decided to be part of the problem,” Pence added.
Pence then went as far as claiming that Trump’s words endangered the lives of him and his entire family.
