CNN Says Kamala Not Campaigning Enough, Are They Right?

Harris Outpacing Trump Where?

A new poll shows that Vice President Kamala Harris holds a slight edge over former President Donald Trump in the critical battleground state of Pennsylvania, with a 3-point lead among likely voters. The survey, conducted by a collaboration of the New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Siena College, shows Harris at 50% compared to Trump’s 47%. As the election draws closer, this state is emerging as a key battleground that could ultimately determine the outcome.

However, the picture changes when we look at Arizona, another pivotal swing state, where Trump is leading Harris by a more comfortable margin of 51% to her 46%. This state is crucial for any candidate seeking to secure the presidency.

Voter enthusiasm remains high, with 73% of respondents indicating they are “almost certain” to participate in the upcoming election. When it comes to the issues that matter most to voters, the economy, abortion, and immigration stand out. Trump demonstrates a clear advantage over Harris regarding economic management and immigration policy, garnering 54% and 55% support, respectively, compared to Harris’s 43% and 42%.

However, the vice president does have a lead on abortion and reproductive rights, receiving 56% support against Trump’s 38%. This divergence in key issues highlights the stark contrasts in how voters perceive the two candidates’ capabilities.

As we approach the November election, updated polling data shows Harris slightly leading Trump in Pennsylvania with 48.6% to his 48%. In Arizona, Trump holds a narrow lead of 48.5% to 47.6%. With margins this close and issues of critical importance at play, it’s clear that every vote will count as we head toward Election Day. The GOP must rally its base and focus on the strengths that resonate with voters, particularly in battleground states like Pennsylvania and Arizona.
