Media Says Biden Will Beat Trump In 2024, You Agree?

Nikki Haley Backstabs Trump

On Friday, Nikki Haley, the former United States ambassador to the United Nations, took aim at former President Donald Trump, who is one of her opponents in the 2024 Republican primary.

According to Newsmax, previously, the former South Carolina governor had refrained from criticizing Trump. However, in a recent interview with RealClearPolitics, Haley stated that “the past is catching up with” the former president.

Haley slammed Trump and said, “He’s living in the past, and the past is catching up with him in a way that it is causing drama. We have to move forward. We can’t deal with the drama that’s following him. We can’t deal with the baggage.”

Along with her criticism, Haley also expressed sympathy towards Trump, acknowledging that he has been “abused” by the media and the federal government.

“But the American people need to move forward,” Haley added.

Furthermore, Haley also criticized some of Trump’s policy decisions during his presidency, specifically for not supporting E-Verify, a government database that enables employers to verify whether job applicants are authorized to work legally.

“It’s not about whether it’s tough or not. This is about making sure that we only have people hired in this country that are legal,” Haley explained.

Earlier this week, a leaked memo revealed that Haley’s campaign criticized Trump behind the scenes, stating that he is “more consumed by the grievances of the past and the promise of more drama in the future.”
