Is America Safer When Republicans Are In Charge?

Trump Has To Flip The Script

In the upcoming debate, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump should focus on making his opponent, Kamala Harris, defend her record in office, according to Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin. Johnson, speaking with Newsmax, emphasized that Harris’s track record is rife with failures that will be challenging for her to justify.

“Trump’s strategy should be to keep Harris on the defensive by highlighting her record,” Johnson advised during his interview on “America Right Now.” “Her tenure has been marked by ineffective policies and poor performance.”

Johnson pointed out that Harris’s record, particularly in economic policy, is problematic. “Her proposals, such as price controls, are well-known for their negative impacts—they diminish the supply of goods and often lead to higher inflation. It’s clear her economic strategies are flawed and lack practicality.”

The debate scheduled for Tuesday between Trump and Harris is anticipated to be a crucial moment, Johnson noted. He suggested that Trump should question Harris about her role as the so-called “border czar,” a position she held with significant responsibilities regarding border security. “Despite her attempts to distance herself from that title now, Harris’s oversight of the border has been disastrous. The open border policy has particularly harmed low-income Americans who now face stiffer competition for jobs from illegal immigrants.”

Johnson also highlighted the financial burden of illegal immigration, which he claims costs the economy billions of dollars annually. “The financial strain of supporting illegal immigrants is immense and continues to escalate, placing a heavy burden on our economic system.”

By emphasizing these points, Trump can effectively spotlight Harris’s shortcomings and appeal to voters concerned about these critical issues.
