This is very bad news.
In new data released from the Department of Labor, it now appears that a historic record of Americans have quit their jobs in September alone.
According to the Washington Examiner, a whopping 4.4 million Americans quit their job in September which is the highest quit rate ever recorded in the United States.
This statistic records only the Americans who voluntarily left their jobs and those who quit were very confident they would easily find another job.
Bankrate Senior Economic Analyst Mark Hamrick has claimed that because of the pandemic many businesses are now considering raising wages and making working conditions better for their employees to get them back to work.
Hamrick then explained that this is a great time for people who are looking to get jobs.
