Republican Loses Trump’s Endorsement
In New Jersey’s Senate race, Republican candidate Curtis Bashaw is gaining significant traction with the backing of key party leaders, even though he hasn’t secured the endorsement of former President Donald Trump. Bashaw triumphed over Christine Serrano Glassner, who had Trump’s endorsement and is married to former Trump adviser Michael Glassner, in a competitive primary. Since then, Trump has notably refrained from commenting on the race, which pits Bashaw against Democratic frontrunner Rep. Andy Kim.
The support Bashaw is receiving from establishment Republicans is evident, particularly with endorsements from prominent figures like Sens. Steve Daines and Susan Collins. Daines, who chairs the National Republican Senatorial Committee, signals a strong endorsement from party leadership, indicating that Bashaw is viewed as a viable candidate capable of uniting the party and appealing to New Jersey voters. Other senators, including Tommy Tuberville and Joni Ernst, attended a recent NRSC fundraiser for Bashaw, reinforcing this establishment support.
Bashaw’s campaign is centered on addressing issues that resonate with constituents, as his spokesperson emphasized his potential to make history in the Garden State. While Trump’s silence may raise questions, Bashaw remains optimistic and open to endorsements from anyone who aligns with his vision.
Despite being labeled a moderate and facing scrutiny from Glassner, Bashaw has reiterated his support for Trump, although he’s focused on his own campaign and the challenges in New Jersey. His pro-Israel stance may attract Jewish voters who are dissatisfied with Kim but hesitant to support Trump.
With early voting set to begin soon, Bashaw is striving to close the gap in the polls. A recent survey shows him trailing Kim by a narrow margin, suggesting this race could be one of the most competitive in recent years. Though the odds are against him in a traditionally Democratic state, Bashaw’s campaign is focused on mobilizing support and making a case for why he deserves a chance to represent New Jersey in the Senate.
As the race unfolds, Bashaw and Kim will face off in three debates, offering a platform for Bashaw to articulate his vision and potentially sway undecided voters. With endorsements from groups like the State Troopers Fraternal Association, Bashaw is positioning himself as a serious contender, aiming to unite Republican support and deliver a strong challenge in the upcoming election.
Problem is: ALL of the democommunist-controlled states HAVE BEEN signing up illegal aliens to vote, and many ILLEGALS have already been “allowed” to vote early. The RIGGING and CHEATING by the COMMUNISTS has already begun.
All the illegals were let in so Demos would get the vote. They had it planned.
Why would a poll ask that question ? Only citizens can vote, until Biden Harris.
