Here’s what happened…

It now appears that many employees are very upset over the fact that some current and former employees have leaked company information which has compromised the “culture” of the business.

According to the Verge, Facebook is now getting more and more secretive and have unveiled a new “Integrity Umbrella” at their company. This new system is intended to keep more secrecy and will only allow 6,000 employees at the company to have access to certain sensitive internal documents and tools.

In the past this information was accessible to all of Facebook’s 68,000 employees.

“Anonymized public shaming could be a great strategy to deter leaks … make it known that they’re gone,” one Facebook employee said.

Facebook has always told their employees to “Be Open,” however is appears that their attitude is quickly changing.
