Many people are outraged Rodgers hasn’t been vaccinated.

In a surprising turn of events, insurance company State Farm is choosing to stand with NFL player Aaron Rodgers after he refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the Washington Examiner, Rodgers claimed that he was allergic to the vaccine and State Farm said they will continue to support him and his decision to not get vaccinated.

Rodgers sparked controversy after he went on The Pat McAfee Show and raised doubt by saying that a top doctor said it was impossible for vaccinated people to get COVID. “We know now that information is totally false,” Rodgers said.

State Farm spoke about the controversy and said each case depends on “personal circumstances” and will continue to work with Rodgers.

“We don’t support some of the statements that he has made, but we respect his right to have his own personal point of view,” State Farm released in a statement. “We recognize our customers, employees, agents and brand ambassadors come from all walks of life, with differing viewpoints on many issues. Our mission at State Farm is to support safer, stronger communities.
