In November Two Christian missionaries were released in November and another three other were also released earlier this month.
Following the release of these missionaries the Christian Aid Ministries stated that they thanked God for answering their prayers and thanked everyone who prayed with them.
They then quoted the Bible verse Exodus 15:1b, which said, “I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously.”
Republican Rep. Bill Huizenga expressed thankfulness for the release of these people and took to social media and wrote, “Today is the day we have been hoping for, praying for, and working so hard to achieve.”
“I want to thank members of the hostage negotiation team for their diligence in securing the safe release of all the hostages. This is a great day for families in Michigan and across the nation who have been worried about the safety of their loved ones,” he further noted.
The Christian missionaries consisted of a group of 16 Americans and 1 Canadian. Furthermore six of them were men, six women, and five were children. The group was kidnapped by men who were part of the 400 Mawozo gang in mid-October when they were traveling on a bus.
