Only Trump can work this hard!

President Donald Trump spent his weekend at one of his signature Florida properties, surrounded by longtime allies, senior officials, and close family members — offering a glimpse into how personal milestones and political relationships continue to overlap in Trump’s world.

On Sunday, Trump attended a wedding at Mar-a-Lago honoring White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino and U.S. Embassy art director Erin Elmore. The event drew a large crowd of well-known conservative figures and administration officials.

Speaking briefly before the ceremony, the president praised those in attendance, describing them as “very loyal” and “fantastic people.”

A High-Profile Celebration at Mar-a-Lago

The ceremony was part of a busy weekend at Trump properties. A day earlier, Republican strategist and podcast host Alex Bruesewitz wed former Miss Nevada USA Carolina Urrea at Trump National Doral Miami.

Although President Trump was unable to attend that ceremony in person, he sent a personal video message to the couple, offering congratulations and well-wishes.

The president spent Saturday evening attending the annual Alfalfa Club dinner in Washington, D.C., a long-standing black-tie event that brings together political, business, and media leaders.

Familiar Faces From Politics and Media

Sunday’s ceremony featured a guest list filled with prominent figures from conservative politics, media, and business. Attendees included tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, Kristi Noem, Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, and Sean Hannity.

Several members of the Trump family attended the event, including Tiffany Trump and her husband, Michael Boulos, along with Lara Trump. Donald Trump Jr. was also present with his fiancée, Bettina Anderson, as well as his former wife, Vanessa, and his daughter, Kai.

A Longtime Trump Ally

At age 50, Dan Scavino is one of President Trump’s most trusted advisers, dating back decades before Trump entered politics. He played a central role in shaping Trump’s direct-to-voters communication strategy and now oversees the White House Presidential Personnel Office.

That office is responsible for approximately 4,000 political appointments, including more than 1,600 positions requiring Senate confirmation — making it one of the most influential administrative posts in the executive branch.

Scavino proposed to Erin Elmore last September outside the Oval Office, later sharing the news publicly. He has said the timing of the wedding was driven by the administration’s packed schedule, as Trump prepares to increase political activity to help Republicans maintain control of the House.

From Golf Club to the White House

Scavino first met Trump in the 1990s while working at one of Trump’s golf clubs. Over the years, he steadily rose through the ranks, becoming one of the president’s most reliable aides.

Last fall, Trump appointed Scavino to lead the Presidential Personnel Office following internal tensions under the previous leadership. The former officeholder was later named U.S. ambassador to India.

For many supporters, the weekend event highlighted a familiar Trump theme: long-standing loyalty, personal relationships, and a political operation built on trust — even during moments meant for celebration.
