The GOP is not playing games with Mamdani.

A major political firestorm erupted after Florida Republican Rep. Randy Fine unleashed a blistering attack on New York Democrat Zohran Mamdani, labeling him “little more than an extremist” and calling for his citizenship to be revoked and for him to be deported.

Fine’s outrage came after Mamdani — a Democratic Socialist and outspoken ally of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) — marked the two-year anniversary of Hamas’ brutal October 7, 2023 terror attack on Israel with a statement that shocked many across the political spectrum.

“This is sickening. Mamdani is awful — it’s shameful he was ever granted U.S. citizenship. It should be revoked and he should be sent back to Uganda, the country he came from,” Fine wrote on X.

Mamdani began his message by acknowledging that “Hamas carried out a horrific war crime,” but quickly shifted to accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of leading “a genocidal war” — even claiming that the United States has been complicit.

Mamdani stated that the “occupation and system of apartheid must come to an end.” He added that true peace “can only be achieved through diplomacy, not acts of violence,” urging the U.S. government to “take action to stop these abuses and ensure those responsible are held accountable.”

According to his official biography, Mamdani’s mother gave birth to him in Uganda, moved to New York City as a child, and became a naturalized American citizen in 2018. On his social media pages, he promotes himself as a Democratic Socialist running to “freeze rent, make buses free, and deliver universal childcare.”

Conservatives quickly condemned Mamdani’s remarks, saying they expose how deeply anti-Israel sentiment runs in the far-left faction of the Democratic Party — the same radical wing that often defends terrorist sympathizers while vilifying American allies.

Many on the right are now praising Rep. Fine for saying what millions of Americans are thinking: that any politician who excuses terrorism and attacks Israel has no place representing U.S. citizens.

As tensions rise, the controversy serves as a stark reminder of how divided the nation has become under far-left influence — and how the GOP, led by President Trump’s strong America First approach, is pushing back hard against what many see as a moral and cultural rot inside the Democratic Party.
