Top World Leader Speaks To Trump
In a bold move to bring stability to Eastern Europe, President Donald Trump spoke Thursday with French President Emmanuel Macron, urging immediate international action to enforce a 30-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. Trump’s message was clear: stop the fighting now—or face devastating new sanctions.
Macron revealed on social media that he spoke “several times” with Trump, applauding the president’s strong leadership and unwavering call for an unconditional ceasefire. Macron confirmed that European allies, including the U.K. and Nordic nations, are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with America in backing this effort.
“We must act without delay or deception,” Macron said. “Ukraine already signaled its support weeks ago. Now it’s Russia’s turn to show good faith—or face serious consequences.”
On Wednesday, President Trump also spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, reinforcing America’s push for peace. Trump later posted on Truth Social, saying the United States supports a 30-day truce—no conditions, no loopholes.
“If Russia fails to comply,” Trump warned, “we’re prepared to move forward with even tougher sanctions.”
Vice President JD Vance echoed the president’s concerns, stating Russia’s demands during negotiations have been “excessive and out of line.” Vance made it clear: the Trump administration is serious about restoring peace—on America’s terms.
In recent weeks, Trump has grown visibly frustrated with Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of dragging out peace talks and playing political games. Trump’s message now is unmistakable: America is ready for peace—but not at any cost.
