Kristi Noem Calls Out Tim Walz
Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD) has issued a stark warning about Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), expressing grave concerns about his potential as a vice presidential candidate. Noem asserts with certainty that Walz represents a “national security threat” to the United States.
During an appearance on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, which was guest-hosted by Sean Duffy, Noem criticized Walz’s dramatic shift from his more moderate stance in Congress to his current policies as governor. She highlighted Walz’s extensive history of travel to China—reportedly around 30 visits—as a major point of concern, suggesting that these interactions may have compromised his stance on communism and national security.
Noem, a staunch advocate for protecting American interests, remarked, “I am absolutely convinced that Tim Walz poses a serious national security risk. His approach seems to advocate for American policies that align more closely with Chinese principles, which is precisely the opposite direction we need to take. My career has been dedicated to combating Chinese influence, safeguarding our food supply, and defending against unfair trade practices. China has a history of manipulating currencies, stealing intellectual property, and undermining our security through espionage and land acquisitions.”
The South Dakota governor further urged Americans to be vigilant, declaring that both Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris are unsuitable for higher office. She emphasized the importance of electing leaders committed to defending the country from socialism, a stance she believes Walz does not embody.
Noem also highlighted a troubling trend of Minnesotans relocating to South Dakota, attributing this migration to Walz’s alleged mismanagement of the state’s economy and his policies. She echoed concerns similar to those recently expressed by Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL), who noted the influx of Minnesotans into Florida as a reaction to Walz’s stringent COVID-19 restrictions, including controversial measures like a “snitch line” for reporting non-compliance.
Looking ahead to the 2024 election, Noem has expressed her support for former President Donald Trump, praising his leadership during her tenure as governor. She contends that Trump allowed her the freedom to effectively govern South Dakota.
Recent polling data shows Vice President Harris with a slight lead over Trump among registered voters, and her advantage extends further among likely voters. Despite these numbers, Noem remains steadfast in her endorsement of Trump’s return to the White House, underscoring her belief in his leadership over the current administration.
