Fox News Hires Trump?
Fox News has secured a new partnership with Lara Trump, a prominent Republican figure and former co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC). The network announced that Lara will be hosting a new show, My View with Lara Trump, which will make its debut on February 22. This program will air every Saturday night at 9 p.m. EST, offering a fresh perspective for conservative viewers.
My View with Lara Trump will be replacing the popular weekend show previously hosted by Brian Kilmeade, who will now shift to a Sunday time slot from 10 to 11 p.m. EST. Lara, married to Eric Trump, the son of former President Donald Trump, is no stranger to the Fox News audience. She has previously appeared as a regular contributor, offering insightful commentary on key political issues. She also served as co-chair for the RNC, helping to guide the Republican Party’s efforts during a pivotal time in American politics.
Lara Trump’s decision to leave her RNC post in December sparked speculation that she could be positioned for higher political office, possibly even a Senate seat. While these rumors have yet to be confirmed, Lara’s new show offers her a platform to remain closely connected to the American people and voice her conservative values.
Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott praised Lara for her “gifted communication” skills, noting her ability to connect with viewers as an entrepreneur, working mother, and strong advocate for conservative ideals. “Her deep understanding of the political landscape will make My View a must-watch for our audience,” Scott stated.
Lara herself expressed excitement about her new role, emphasizing her desire to engage directly with the American public and share her perspective on the issues that matter most to conservatives. My View with Lara Trump promises to be a valuable addition to Fox News’ weekend programming lineup.
