Vance Reveals Why Voters Won’t Endorse Kamala
Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) recently criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign, asserting that voters are too discerning to support her given the current economic climate. Vance pointed out that the cost of essential goods, like groceries, has risen significantly compared to the period under former President Donald Trump. He suggested that the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign is based on mere rhetoric rather than substantive policies that address real issues affecting Americans.
On Fox News’s The Ingraham Angle, Vance emphasized that Harris’s promises to tackle inflation immediately were made over three years ago. “Day One was 3 1/2 years ago,” Vance remarked. “The inflation crisis we’re facing is a direct result of her policies, and the American people are not going to fall for these empty promises. It’s clear why our campaign continues to gain traction.”
Vance also highlighted the stark contrast between the Trump and Harris-Walz campaigns. He noted that while Trump and his team actively engage with the media and the public, the Harris-Walz campaign has been noticeably absent from such interactions. Vance suggested this reluctance is indicative of a lack of a clear vision for the country from the Harris-Walz side.
“We believe that hardworking Americans should not be burdened with sky-high grocery bills,” Vance stated. “We are committed to ensuring that our children are safe from the dangers of fentanyl and that we implement policies to secure our borders, reduce drug trafficking, and make essentials like housing and groceries affordable again.”
The debate calendar is shaping up, with Vance and his opponent, Walz, scheduled to face off on CBS News on October 1. Vance has also proposed a debate on CNN on September 18, advocating for multiple debates to give voters a comprehensive view of the vice presidential candidates’ platforms. Meanwhile, the upcoming presidential debate is set for September 10 on ABC News. Although Trump initially sought to debate Harris on Fox News, he has opted to adhere to the original debate schedule agreed upon during President Joe Biden’s initial reelection bid.
