Trump Says He Supports H-1B Visas, Do You?

Biden Makes New Confession On Recent Attacks

In a press briefing on Thursday, President Biden addressed the recent attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas, asserting that there was no current evidence linking the two incidents. He stated that the investigation into the two events is ongoing, with federal authorities continuing to examine any potential connections. “As of now, there is no evidence to suggest a connection,” Biden said. “But we will keep looking.”

The attack in New Orleans, which saw a man driving a pickup truck into a crowd, was carried out by Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a U.S. citizen from Texas. The truck he rented was equipped with an ISIS flag attached to the trailer hitch, and the assailant had a history of military service in the U.S. Army. The New Orleans tragedy left 15 dead, including the attacker, and 35 others were injured. Biden confirmed that the attacker had planted explosives in nearby locations, and investigators discovered a remote detonator in his vehicle. Jabbar had also posted videos online expressing his support for ISIS just hours before the attack.

Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, Matthew Alan Livelsberger, a former U.S. Army serviceman, died in an explosion outside the Trump International Hotel. Authorities are currently investigating his ties to the attack, as well as his possible motivations. The FBI and Department of Defense are speaking with Livelsberger’s former military colleagues to understand his background better.

Biden acknowledged the importance of both cases, emphasizing the role of federal, state, and local law enforcement in swiftly bringing answers to the American people. Despite the tragedy, Biden pointed out that New Orleans’ spirit remains unbroken. The Sugar Bowl, which had been postponed due to the attack, resumed Thursday, and Bourbon Street has reopened.

In contrast, former President Trump took to social media to blame the surge in violent crime on Biden’s immigration policies, asserting that the lack of border security is directly linked to these recent attacks.

For many Republicans, this tragedy underscores the dangers of an unchecked border and the risks posed by individuals with extremist views operating within the United States. It’s time to ask hard questions about how these individuals slip through the cracks and what more can be done to protect Americans from similar attacks in the future.
