Trump Reveals Biden And Kamala’s Dark Truth

During a recent debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Donald Trump accurately highlighted the troubling rise in crime rates under President Joe Biden’s administration. Recent data from the Justice Department underscores Trump’s concerns. According to the latest statistics released on Thursday, the rate of violent victimizations in the United States was 22.5 per 1,000 individuals aged 12 and older in 2023, a figure that remains alarmingly close to the previous year’s rate of 23.5.

The situation is particularly dire in urban areas. Property victimization rates saw a significant increase, rising from 176.1 per 1,000 households in 2022 to 192.3 per 1,000 in 2023. This uptick is part of a broader trend, as both violent and property crime rates under Biden are considerably higher than those recorded during the final year of the Trump administration.

Compounding these issues is a decline in crime reporting. The percentage of robbery incidents reported to police fell from 64% in 2022 to just 42% in 2023, indicating a troubling trend of underreporting.

Crime Prevention Research Center President John R. Lott Jr. has analyzed these figures and points out that violent crime has surged under Biden’s leadership. According to Lott, violent crime increased by 37% during the Biden administration, in stark contrast to a 17% decrease observed during Trump’s tenure. Lott’s breakdown of the Bureau of Justice Statistics’ National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) reveals that from 2016 to 2020, violent crime decreased by 15% under Trump but spiked by 55% from 2020 to 2023 under Biden. Specifically, rape increased by 42%, robbery by 63%, and aggravated assaults by 55%.

The NCVS, which surveys nearly a quarter-million people annually, suggests that the FBI’s data might be misleading, as it relies on crime reports from local police departments, some of which may be incomplete. Despite the FBI reporting a 6.1% decrease in homicides in 2022, the NCVS data paints a grimmer picture of rising violent crime under the current administration.

This disparity highlights the urgent need for effective law enforcement strategies and a return to policies that promote safety and security for all Americans.
