Former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson is stepping into the race to become the next chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Williamson is entering a race already populated with high-profile contenders, including New York State Senator James Skoufis, Minnesota Democratic Party Chair Ken Martin, and Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler. Current DNC Chair Jaime Harrison, who has held the position since 2021, is not expected to seek another term, leaving an open race for the top spot.
