Has Trump Done More For America Than Biden And Kamala?

Top Trump Ally Calls For 2nd Debate

Former White House adviser Kellyanne Conway believes there’s still a chance that former President Donald Trump may consider a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. Conway expressed her conviction that Trump wouldn’t want Harris’s upcoming debate against Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be the final word in this election cycle.

During a recent interview, Conway posed a compelling question to Trump: “Are you really going to let this be the last presidential debate of the season? Is that how you want to end your career, or would you prefer to have one more opportunity?” Her remarks came as anticipation builds around Sen. J.D. Vance’s upcoming debate against Walz.

In response, Trump indicated a willingness for another face-off but expressed concern about the timeline, noting, “We’re so far down the line. It’s late.” With Election Day just over a month away, he seemed hesitant about fitting another debate into the schedule.

Conway, however, continued to encourage Trump, likening him to baseball star Shohei Ohtani. She emphasized, “You’ve done seven debates; she’s only done one. It’s a big deal that you can go toe-to-toe with anyone!” This sports analogy was meant to highlight Trump’s competitive nature, suggesting he still has the upper hand.

Despite some reservations about the fairness of the moderators during previous debates, Trump didn’t completely shut down the possibility of more debates. “I would love to have two or three more debates,” he stated, indicating an openness to the idea.

Reflecting on her interview, Conway noted that Trump’s response wasn’t a firm “no,” suggesting a glimmer of hope for another debate. She argued that voters are eager to hear from both candidates directly, as that final interaction could sway undecided voters.

Conway, who served Trump as counselor during his first term, remains a key voice encouraging him to embrace the debate stage once more. “People want to hear from you both. That last 5% of undecided voters might be looking for a direct comparison,” she concluded. As the campaign intensifies, the prospect of additional debates could become pivotal for rallying support and shaping the election narrative.
