White House Admits Biden Mentally Deteriorating
According to Axios, the White House was unable to provide an explanation for President Biden’s unexpected remarks of “God Save the Queen” at the conclusion of his speech on gun control. Several aides, who spoke with Axios, described the president’s use of unusual phrases as “wacky.”
Following the speech, Olivia Dalton, the White House principal deputy press secretary, informed reporters that Biden was simply making a comment to someone in the crowd.
Axios reported that Biden’s aides often find themselves perplexed by his peculiar sayings. The outlet concluded that these strange phrases are simply a reflection of “Biden being Biden.”
Fox News Digital attempted to contact the White House for a response but has yet to receive one.
During a speech on gun control in Connecticut, Biden concluded with the unexpected phrase “God Save the Queen.” He mentioned this after acknowledging that he wouldn’t be able to shake hands with attendees due to an approaching storm.
In reference to the reported storm, Biden also used a phrase he had previously employed when questioned by a student about his fourth-place standing in the 2020 Iowa caucuses. He said, “Is that the truth? Now, do not make a lie – as that scene in the John Wayne movie – don’t make me a dog-faced, lying, pony-soldier.”
Axios speculated that, as a proud Irishman whose ancestors likely harbored no affection for the British monarchy, Biden may have been using the phrase sarcastically.
The outlet quoted former and current Biden aides who admitted they were still unsure about the intended meaning behind the phrase.
Concerns about the president’s age have been voiced by Democrats, Republicans, and others as he campaigns for re-election in 2024.
Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton addressed the issue of his age during an interview with the Financial Times in May. She stated, “But his age is an issue, and people have every right to consider it. But, you know, he has this great saying – and I think he’s right – don’t judge him for running against the Almighty but against the alternative. I am of the camp that I think he’s determined to run; he has a good record that, three years ago, people would not have predicted would have gotten done.”
