VIDEO: Jill Biden Makes A Fool Of Herself

On Thursday, first lady Jill Biden did not get the reaction she was anticipating after delivering one of her remarks, which led to her making a short remark that made the audience clap.

Jill Biden in her remarks stated that she had visited both Republican and Democratic states and that she has “found that the common values that unite us are deeper than our divisions.” She then proceeded to pause for a moment, seemingly expecting a response from the audience that remained quiet. They then proceeded to say, “I thought you might clap for that,” which led to the cloud clapping for her.

Jill Biden’s remarks were a part of the Reagan Institute Summit on Education (RISE) in Washington, D.C., an annual conference that is meant to host education leaders from across the nation. The first lady was not the only one to deliver remarks during this year’s event. Former Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchison and Maryland Democrat Gov. Wes Moore also delivered their own speeches.

The Reagan Foundation on their website writes about the two-day conference that is going to be focused on “policy and practice from early childhood through postsecondary education and beyond.” They further note that following the global pandemic it is necessary for the U.S. to modernize the education system and start preparing for the challenges that the 22nd century will bring forth.

Many social media users were quick to point out the similarities between Jill Biden’s statement and that of former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush, who had urged his supporters to clap during his 2016 campaign events.
