Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, has a complete and total meltdown over the transportation of migrants due to the burden it imposes on states and cities that are not located on the border. This statement sparked a flurry of critical responses on the internet.

According to Fox, several state governors have garnered attention by dispatching buses filled with migrants from the southern border of the United States to more politically liberal regions such as Chicago, New York City, and Martha’s Vineyard. Although some perceive this bussing practice as mere trolling or a political maneuver, it has proven to be impactful, as liberal mayors have voiced concerns about the consequences of increased migrant populations in their cities.

In Monday’s press briefing, Jean-Pierre seemed to reflect the concerns expressed by blue states regarding immigration, and her acknowledgment that unregulated immigration can place a significant burden on local communities was seen as entertaining by many conservatives.

Jean-Pierre lashed out at reporters and said, “I’ve said it many times from here repeatedly from this podium that bussing or flying migrants around the country without any coordination with the federal government – we’ve talked about this, state or local officials as well – is dangerous and unacceptable. We will continue to be very, very clear about that. It is dangerous and unacceptable, because you’re putting people’s lives at risk.”

“It’s dangerous and unacceptable because you’re actually putting a lot of pressure on these states and local areas,” she added.

Her cautionary message about states and small towns being overwhelmed by what she described as “dangerous and unacceptable” activity was seen by many as containing a dark irony.

“It takes a special kind of stupid to say something this self, evidently absurd – as if having 6 million illegal migrants in a few states along the border doesn’t put a lot of pressure and stress upon those states and local areas,” conservative George Landfrith explained.
