How Do You Rate Trump's Presidency?

White House In Panic As Biden’s Health Worsens

How on earth are Democrats letting Biden run again?

During a lavish fundraiser hosted by Hollywood power couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones at their luxurious Westchester estate, President Joe Biden found himself in the spotlight once again for a slip of the tongue, adding another gaffe to his repertoire. The event, attended by a glittering array of stars, provided the backdrop for Biden’s mix-up of dates regarding the Jan. 6 riots, a moment that underscored his ongoing battles against former President Donald Trump.

In the midst of his address to the star-studded gathering, Biden inadvertently interchanged the dates, referring to January 6th as June 6th, a historic error given the significance of June 6th, known as D-Day, marking the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II. Despite the slip, Biden continued to lambast Trump, denouncing the events of January 6th as a dark stain on history, firmly rejecting any notion that it was anything but an insurrection.

Prior to his verbal misstep, Biden had launched into a tirade against Trump’s alleged missteps, highlighting incidents such as the controversial use of tear gas on peaceful protesters and the infamous photo-op holding a Bible upside down. Mocking Trump’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, Biden quipped about the former president’s suggestion to inject bleach, humorously suggesting Trump might have taken that advice for his hair.

The fundraiser, held in the picturesque backyard of Douglas and Zeta-Jones’ riverfront abode, drew in around 100 attendees who gathered beneath a tent to hear speeches from both Biden and the esteemed actor. Douglas, acknowledging his wife’s absence due to her filming commitments, expressed his support for Biden’s presidency, urging for a continuation of his leadership.

Amidst the glamorous setting, Biden shared a light-hearted moment with Douglas, humorously remarking on their marriages to women of extraordinary caliber. The guest list boasted notable names including fashion designer Eileen Fisher, attorney Rodge Cohen, businessman Robert Goodman, hedge fund manager John Shapiro, and others, all joining forces to support Biden’s cause.

While the exact amount raised remained undisclosed, the event served as a testament to the enduring support for Biden within influential circles, despite occasional verbal missteps that seem to accompany his public appearances.
