Trump Reveals Shocking Detail Of His Arrest
In his initial interview since the momentous arraignment, ex-President of the United States, Donald Trump claimed that court officials were in tears when he was charged last week with business fraud.
According to the BBC, During an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that a considerable number of personnel at the Manhattan court were either crying or on the verge of tears. This occurred as he was arraigned on business fraud charges last week, marking his first interview since the event.
Trump entered a plea of not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records last week.
During his appearance on the Tucker Carlson Tonight show, which was broadcasted on Tuesday, Trump recounted the events that occurred when he was processed at the criminal court by officials, including the police. He claimed that tears were streaming down their faces as they processed him.
“They were incredible,” Trump said. “When I went to the courthouse, which is also a prison in a sense, they signed me in and I’ll tell you people were crying.”
“People that work there. Professionally work there that have no problems putting in murderers and they see everybody,” Trump added.
“It’s a tough, tough place and they were crying. They were actually crying. They said, ‘I’m sorry,'” Trump added.
During the interview, Trump reiterated his innocence and asserted that there is no case against him.
Trump then praised the evaluation of Andrew McCabe, a critic of his, who informed CNN last week that the first-ever indictment against a former US President had “landed like a dud”.
