Kamala Claims To Be A Proud Gun Owner, Is She Lying?

Democrats Trying To Tie Trump To Who?

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has launched a new series of billboard ads in North Carolina that attempt to link former President Donald Trump to Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, following a controversial report about Robinson’s past remarks. These billboards, which showcase images of Trump and Robinson together along with Trump’s past compliments about Robinson, will be displayed in key cities like Raleigh, Charlotte, and Greensboro ahead of Trump’s rally in Wilmington.

The DNC and Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign are clearly hoping to capitalize on recent controversies to sway voters in the Tar Heel State, aiming to turn it blue for the first time since 2008. The focus on Robinson comes after a CNN report highlighted some troubling comments he made in the past, raising eyebrows about his suitability as a candidate. Robinson’s past remarks have sparked significant criticism, particularly regarding his views on women and minority groups, and the DNC is keen to exploit this narrative.

Despite the negative press, Robinson remains steadfast in his campaign for governor, dismissing the allegations against him. His communications director stated firmly that Robinson has never created or used an account on the website Ashley Madison, which was also mentioned in the report. Nevertheless, Democrats are seizing the moment, aiming to draw connections between Trump and Robinson to portray both as extreme and out of touch with mainstream North Carolina values.

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison has been vocal, declaring, “Donald Trump and Mark Robinson are two MAGA extremists cut from the same cloth.” He accuses both men of holding radical views that are detrimental to the state.

As Trump prepares for his rally, it’s evident that the GOP is not underestimating the stakes in North Carolina, a critical state for securing electoral votes in the 2024 presidential race. With 16 electoral votes on the line, maintaining a strong Republican presence in North Carolina is crucial for Trump’s path to victory.
