Will Kamala Make Problems In The Middle East Worse If Elected President?

Republican Calls Out Ocasio-Cortez

Senator Joni Ernst from Iowa recently expressed her strong disapproval of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s criticism of Israel’s military operations against Hezbollah. In an interview with Newsmax, Ernst pointed out that Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat from New York, seemed to misplace her outrage regarding the recent targeted attacks by Israel on known terrorist factions.

Ernst reminded viewers that while Ocasio-Cortez was quick to condemn Israel’s actions, she had been notably silent in the face of the brutal Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, which resulted in the deaths and abductions of many innocent Israeli citizens. Ernst stated, “I don’t recall AOC expressing similar concern for the lives of Israeli citizens when they were kidnapped and killed just a short time ago.”

The senator highlighted the stark contrast in Ocasio-Cortez’s responses: it took her only a day to criticize Israel’s actions but two days to issue a statement regarding the atrocities committed by Hamas. Ernst challenged Ocasio-Cortez to address the impact of these terrorist organizations, questioning, “Where is she in standing up for the victims of the October 7 attack? Innocent lives were shattered, and thousands were dragged from their homes.”

Emphasizing the ongoing threat posed by groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, Ernst warned that these terrorist organizations do not discriminate and can strike at any moment. “They are coming after you, and we must remain vigilant. Safety is not guaranteed,” she cautioned.

Ernst also acknowledged the tragic civilian casualties from the military operations, including the loss of two children, but reiterated the importance of avoiding areas where terrorists operate. “It’s a tragedy, but we must recognize the danger these groups pose,” she said, urging Americans to stay informed and aware of their surroundings in these challenging times.
