Kamala Doubles Down On Trump Attacks

Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign has initiated a series of ads designed to link former President Donald Trump with the controversial Project 2025, an initiative led by the Heritage Foundation. These advertisements will be featured on television and digital platforms in key battleground states, including the Palm Beach media market in Florida, where Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate is located.

The first of these ads, a 60-second spot titled “Control,” includes a segment where Trump mentions that he would have the authority to target his political adversaries. The ad suggests that Project 2025 is an attempt to empower Trump to become the most dominant president in U.S. history, and it highlights parts of the project’s proposal.

The ad’s message is clear: “Donald Trump might try to downplay his involvement, but the reality is that these plans are fundamentally his. His agenda will have serious consequences for the country.”

Harris’ campaign has signaled that this will be a recurring theme in their strategy. Quentin Fulks, deputy campaign manager for Harris, criticized Project 2025 as a serious threat to American values, stating that Trump’s policies could lead to extreme actions if he were re-elected. He emphasized, “The agenda outlined in Project 2025 represents a fundamental danger to the principles that Americans cherish. There are no bounds to the drastic measures Trump might pursue if he returns to office.”

In contrast, Trump has repeatedly attempted to distance himself from Project 2025. During a recent visit to the U.S.-Mexico border, he declared that his administration is not involved with Project 2025, seeking to clarify that he is not officially connected to the proposal.

Through this advertising campaign, Harris aims to portray Trump’s proposed policies as radical and hazardous, hoping to influence undecided voters by framing his agenda as a significant threat to democratic values and stability.
