Liberals Declare This State Most Racist

On Saturday, the NAACP released an official travel advisory for Florida, expressing concerns that the state has become unwelcoming and unfavorable towards Black Americans during the tenure of Governor Ron DeSantis (R).

In transcript provided by The Hill, the travel advisers warned, “On a seeming quest to silence African-American voices, the Governor and the State of Florida have shown that African Americans are not welcome in the State of Florida.”

“Due to this sustained, blatant, relentless and systemic attack on democracy and civil rights, the NAACP hereby issues a travel advisory to African Americans, and other people of color regarding the hostility towards African Americans in Florida,” they added.

The travel advisory highlights various contentious policies attributed to Governor Ron DeSantis, such as the recent legislation he signed to prohibit the use of public funds by colleges for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has previously signed the Stop WOKE Act, which imposes limitations on discussions of race in mandatory training or instruction within workplaces and schools. Additionally, he obstructed the implementation of an Advanced Placement African American Studies course in public schools, asserting that it lacked educational merit.

NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson went on to say, “Let me be clear — failing to teach an accurate representation of the horrors and inequalities that Black Americans have faced and continue to face is a disservice to students and a dereliction of duty to all.”

“Under the leadership of Governor Desantis, the state of Florida has become hostile to Black Americans and in direct conflict with the democratic ideals that our union was founded upon,” Johnson continued.
