Democrats Say A 2nd Trump Term Would Destroy America, You Agree?

Biden Giving Medal Of Freedom To Who?

You won’t believe who Biden is about to give these medals to.

President Biden bestowed the United States’ highest civilian honor upon 19 individuals during a ceremony held on Friday, showcasing a diverse array of accomplishments and contributions across various fields. Notable among the recipients were Democratic stalwarts such as Nancy Pelosi, Michael Bloomberg, Al Gore, and John Kerry. Yikes!

Representative Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, whose pivotal endorsement bolstered Biden’s candidacy during the 2020 primaries, was also among those recognized.

In a video celebrating the latest recipients, Biden underscored the significance of the Presidential Medal of Freedom as a symbol of America’s commitment to freedom and its enduring impact on shaping the world’s future.

The honorees reflected a broad spectrum of achievements, with civil rights advocates prominently featured. Among them were LGBTQ leader Judy Shepard, African-American activist Opal Lee, legal luminary Clarence Jones, and civil rights icon Medgar Evers from Mississippi.

Teresa Romero, president of the United Farm laborers, and priest Fr. Greg Boyle, known for his anti-gang outreach, were also acknowledged for their impactful work.

The list further included renowned figures such as t.v host Phil Donahue, Olympic champion Katie Ledecky, astronomist Jane Rigby, and past NASA director Ellen Ochoa.

A posthumous honor was bestowed upon Jim Thorpe, alongside the deceased Democratic Senator Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey.

Former Senator Elizabeth Dole, whose service spanned multiple administrations, was the sole Republican recipient, recognized for her significant contributions.

Established in 1963 by President John F. Kennedy, the Presidential Medal of Freedom replaced an earlier iteration instituted by President Harry S. Truman in 1945. It remains the nation’s highest civilian award, reserved for individuals who have made outstanding contributions to U.S. security, global peace, or significant public or private endeavors.

Biden himself was a recipient of the medal in 2017, when he was honored by then-President Barack Obama for his distinguished service as Vice President.
