Democrats Cry After Donald And Barron Trump Win
Democrats wanted to ruin the Trump families day, thankfully it didn’t work!
Donald Trump and his wife Melania were seen together on Friday at their son Barron’s high school graduation in Florida, taking a brief pause from the former president’s ongoing criminal trial in New York.
Barron, one of 116 graduates from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, received his diploma during the ceremony. Trump and Melania were photographed attending the event, proudly watching their son cross the stage.
Since leaving the White House in 2021, Barron has been a student at Oxbridge Academy, according to The Palm Beach Post. Trump had been eager to attend the graduation and had petitioned for permission to do so for weeks. The decision rested with Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan.
Judge Merchan ultimately approved Trump’s request to attend Barron’s graduation but denied his request to be present for Supreme Court arguments on April 25 regarding presidential immunity. Trump expressed his eagerness, saying, “Barron’s a great student and he’s very proud of his achievements. He has been looking forward to celebrating this milestone with his mother and father.”
Oxbridge Academy, located on a 54-acre campus in West Palm Beach, is an independent, co-educational college-preparatory school. Founded in 2011 by philanthropist William I. Koch, the school prides itself on providing a distinctive curriculum, an enriching environment, and a skilled faculty dedicated to guiding students through their educational journeys. The school boasts a 100% college acceptance rate, with half of the graduates attending top 100 U.S. universities or top 50 liberal arts colleges.
Meanwhile, in New York City, proceedings in Trump’s hush money trial continued on Thursday. Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney, answered extensive questions about his tenure with Trump, his aspirations for a role in the Trump administration, and his involvement in the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s indictment of Trump. Cohen admitted to feeling partially responsible for the 34-count indictment against Trump, a man he once derogatorily referred to as “dumb*ss Donald.” Cohen’s testimony is set to continue on Monday when the court reconvenes.
