Biden Profiting Off Of Trump’s Destruction
Former President Donald Trump expressed his views on the four criminal indictments against him through a pair of social media posts on Saturday. He characterized these indictments as “election interference” and claimed that they were pushing the nation into a “dangerous territory.”
According to Newsmax, in a post shared on his Truth Social platform, Trump questioned, “Why should Crooked Joe Biden be able to force me into the time and expense of trials, especially before the Election, on bogus claims pushed by his chief political supporter, The Department of Injustice. What a horrible precedent this sets for future Presidential campaigns. It is all about Election Interference, and MUST BE STOPPED!”
The latest indictment against Trump was announced by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in Georgia. This indictment targeted Trump and 18 of his associates and lawyers under the state’s Racketeer Influenced Corruption Organization (RICO) law, typically employed against organized crime. The charges revolved around their alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
This marked the fourth criminal indictment faced by the former president. Among these cases was a New York City state case initiated by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. This case alleged Trump’s involvement in falsifying business records concerning a payment made in 2016 to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, with whom Trump was alleged to have had an affair. Additionally, there were two federal cases led by special counsel Jack Smith. One of these cases, located in Florida, focused on Trump’s handling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate post his White House tenure in 2021. The other federal case, set in Washington, D.C., centered around Trump’s actions related to the January 6, 2021 events that led to the riot at the U.S. Capitol during the Electoral College vote count.
Trump then raised one very interesting point and explained how Biden is campaigning off of his legal troubles, “Just think of it! They (Crooked Joe Biden and his Thugs!) Indict me, and their whole campaign is that ‘Trump is Indicted.’ Does that sound fair to anyone? Am I allowed to do such a horrible and unconstitutional thing if, and when, I win the Presidency? We are entering really dangerous territory!!!“
The legal proceedings for these cases are expected to occur in 2024, an election year. Trump is currently the frontrunner for the GOP’s nomination. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis reportedly plans to commence the Georgia case on March 4, which aligns with Super Tuesday—a day when primary voters in 14 states participate in the electoral process.
