Trump’s Judge Caught Working For Biden
In 2020, Judge Juan Merchan, who presides over the criminal case of former President Donald Trump in Manhattan, made a total of $35 in donations to Democratic causes. Among these donations were $15 to President Biden’s campaign and $10 to an organization focused on countering the “radical right-wing legacy” of Donald Trump.
According to records from the Federal Election Commission, Judge Juan Merchan made three donations of small amounts through ActBlue, which is the Democratic Party’s favored online fundraising platform, during a two-day period in July 2020.
On July 26, 2020, Judge Juan Merchan made a $15 donation to the “Biden for President” campaign. The very next day, he contributed $10 each to two organizations, namely the Progressive Turnout Project and Stop Republicans.
According to the website of the organization, the Progressive Turnout Project aims to encourage Democrats to participate in voting.
Stop Republicans is a subdivision of the Progressive Turnout Project and defines itself as a grassroots initiative that is committed to opposing the Republican Party and countering the “radical right-wing legacy” of Donald Trump.
The donation form submitted by Judge Juan Merchan listed his profession as “judge” and his employer as the New York State Office of Court Administration, as per the records of the Federal Election Commission.
Following his indictment, former President Donald Trump, who is 76 years old, has frequently criticized Judge Juan Merchan, referring to him as a “Trump-hating judge” and it looks like Trump may be right!
“The Judge ‘assigned’ to my Witch Hunt Case, a ‘Case’ that has NEVER BEEN CHARGED BEFORE, HATES ME. His name is Juan Manuel Marchan, was hand-picked by Bragg & the Prosecutors,” Trump wrote on social media.
