DeSantis Announces 2024 Run?
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis may have dropped his biggest hint that he is running for the presidency in 2024 after it was learned that he is now expected to hold an “intimate dinner” with top Republican donors this weekend.
According to Fox, DeSantis is coming off a massive re-election victory. He is now likely going to hold a series of very important invite-only meetings with donors.
Invitations which have already been sent out make no mention of him running in 2024 however it does explain itself as a “celebration” for winning his re-election run where he wants to meet with his “strongest supporters.”
Former President Donald Trump already has a strong believe that DeSantis will run in 2024 and began attacking him and has referred to him as “Ron DeSanctimonious.”
Not long ago Trump attacked DeSantis and said, “And now, Ron DeSanctimonious is playing games! The Fake News asks him if he’s going to run if President Trump runs, and he says, ‘I’m only focused on the Governor’s race, I’m not looking into the future.’ Well, in terms of loyalty and class, that’s really not the right answer.”
Republican voters are split between who to support when it comes to Trump and DeSantis. Many conservative voters are waiting to see how this all plays out and will vote accordingly when the time comes in 2024.
