Biden Says Young Voters Love Him, Is This True?

Trump Finally Reveals His 2024 Running Mate?

Here’s what Trump is planning now…

Former President Donald Trump has yet to choose his vice-presidential candidate but has confirmed participation in a Fox News-hosted vice-presidential debate on behalf of his eventual running mate.

On Friday, Fox News Media announced that it had extended an invitation to the campaigns of Trump and President Joe Biden, inviting their vice-presidential nominees to debate after the parties’ conventions. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are expected to represent the Democratic Party, while Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee.

Trump posted on Truth Social, announcing that although he hasn’t chosen his vice-presidential candidate yet, he accepts the invitation for a vice-presidential debate by Fox News, ideally to be held at Virginia State University, the first Historically Black College or University to host such an event. He also urged Vice President Kamala Harris to take part and ended his message with his slogan, “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

This acceptance follows Biden’s recent challenge to Trump for a debate, with CNN extending an offer to host the event on June 27 in Atlanta. Additionally, ABC News has scheduled a presidential debate for September 10, both of which have been accepted by Biden and Trump.

Despite skipping all Republican primary debates, Trump has expressed willingness to debate Biden, who remarked that Trump lost their 2020 debates and has avoided debates since then. Responding on Truth Social, Trump stated he was “Ready and Willing to Debate Crooked Joe,” criticizing Biden’s debating skills.

Fox News Media has suggested July 23 or August 13 for the vice-presidential debate, with flexibility for a different date post-convention. The Democratic National Convention will occur from August 19-22 in Chicago, while the Republican National Convention is set for July 15-18 in Milwaukee.

Virginia State University (VSU) was approached by Fox News Media as a potential debate venue. VSU had previously been selected by the Commission on Presidential Debates for an October 1 debate, but this date is not included in the current plans agreed upon by Biden and Trump. VSU expressed disappointment over reports that the October 1 debate might not happen, emphasizing the significance of hosting such an event for their community.

While Trump has yet to reveal his vice-presidential pick, he has ruled out former Vice President Mike Pence and ex-GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley. Trump hinted at announcing his running mate during the RNC convention in Milwaukee, stating, “I don’t say anything is 100%, but you’re getting pretty close.”

Vice President Harris has accepted an invitation from CBS News for a vice-presidential debate with Trump’s future running mate, but she has not responded to the Fox News Media invitation.

The first presidential debate between Biden and Trump is scheduled for June 27 at CNN’s Atlanta studios, with no audience present. It will be moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash of CNN.
