Fox News Targets Trump Family
In a surprising turn of events, Lara Trump, the wife of former President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump, was just fired by Fox News due to Trump announcing his 2024 run for the presidency.
According to Business Insider, Fox News told other media outlets that Lara Trump will no longer be allowed to appear on their channel as a paid contributor moving forward.
Fox said in a statement, “We appreciate Lara’s valuable contributions across FOX News Media programming.”
Fox News made their decision because they believe that Lara Trump is directly connected to her Father-in-law’s campaign which is the Trump campaign.
Lara Trump has no appeared on Fox News since November 15th which is the same date as when Trump announced his 2024 run.
It’s important to note that Fox News did not have to do this however it was written in their company’s policy that having someone who is tied to a presidential campaign cannot be paid to appear on their news channel.
It is unclear if we will see Lara Trump return to Fox News moving forward.
