Ocasio-Cortez Sparks Outrage With Insane Lie

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may assert that inflation is mere “propaganda,” but her constituents in the 14th district of Queens and the Bronx are experiencing economic hardships that tell a different story. On her Instagram stories, Ocasio-Cortez shared a video from New Zealand’s Aotearoa Liberation League, where an activist blamed inflation’s “propaganda” on shielding “greedy shareholders,” whom they consider responsible for the rising cost of living.

According to NY Post however, during a visit by The Post to Ocasio-Cortez’s constituents, it became evident that many were feeling the pinch financially, and they held the Biden administration partly accountable. The White House had been promoting its “Bidenomics” plan as a solution to combat surging prices.

Latisha Law, a 41-year-old certified nursing assistant and single mother of three, expressed her financial struggles since the pandemic. Law acknowledged the reality of inflation and believed that both the government and big corporations shared blame. She questioned Ocasio-Cortez’s understanding of the situation, suggesting that spending time in their communities would provide better insight into their challenges.

Surprisingly, most residents in the Bronx and Queens weren’t familiar with Ocasio-Cortez, yet they universally agreed that the cost of groceries and essentials had nearly doubled. Some mentioned accumulating substantial credit card debt due to their difficulty in meeting bills.

Iris Vasquez, a 61-year-old Castle Hill Houses resident, believed that the government took advantage of the pandemic to increase prices and dismissed the notion of blaming only big companies. She cited exorbitant egg prices and the need to travel farther for better deals.

Sergio Acevedo, a 51-year-old Bronx resident, expressed frustration by highlighting how much less he could buy with the same amount of money today compared to the past.

Jean Torres, a 72-year-old retired schoolteacher of Puerto Rican descent, pointed out that some of her children resorted to credit cards to afford essentials due to rampant inflation. She also criticized Ocasio-Cortez for not representing traditional Hispanic values and suggested that the Latino vote was shifting away from Democrats in favor of Trump. She noted the irony of Ocasio-Cortez’s expensive attire, recalling the “Tax the Rich” dress she wore to the Met Gala in 2021.
