BREAKING: Trump Hacked
Donald Trump Jr.’s X account experienced a security breach on Wednesday morning, resulting in the posting of unauthorized tweets. These tweets falsely claimed that his father, former President Donald Trump, had passed away and that he intended to run for president in 2024. Additionally, a derogatory statement about President Joe Biden was made.
Another fake comment which was posted by the unknown hacker read, “f*** President Joe Biden.“
According to Newsmax, one of the now-deleted tweets from the compromised account read, “I’m sad to announce, my father Donald Trump has passed away. I will be running for president in 2024,” as observed by Dataminr and users of the X platform. It is essential to clarify that former President Donald Trump is alive and in good health, as confirmed by multiple sources before the misleading posts were removed.
Republican strategist Andrew Surabian promptly addressed the situation on Twitter, stating, “FYI: This is obviously not true. Don’s account has been hacked,” and provided links to the deleted tweets.
During this incident, the former president, Donald Trump, also posted an unrelated message on his primary social media platform, Truth Social. He criticized his son’s hacking situation, writing, “If I would have made that speech yesterday at the United Nations, for all of the World to see, including the HORRENDOUS delivery, I would have been run out of politics!” He further added, “An EMBARRASSMENT to our Country.”
Throughout the reported hacking incident, Donald Trump Jr. made other unauthorized posts, including one where he claimed he would “burn the SEC” when he assumes the presidency.
