Biden Attacks GOP, Announces 2024 Run?
During the recent Democratic National Committee event in Philadelphia, President Biden gave a speech that many experts believe looked like a 2024 campaign rally speech where he senselessly attack Republicans.
While Biden has not officially announced that he is running again in 2024, the speech did mimic Biden’s 2020 election speeches where he tried to gather support for his run against Donald Trump.
According to The Hill, Biden attacked Republicans saying, “I know the Republicans ran on inflation last year — I didn’t know they were trying to make it worse.”
Biden stood in front of a Biden-Harris back drop alongside Vice President Kamala Harris where people began loudly chanting “4 more years!” as he continued to call out Republicans who have been criticizing him for ruining the U.S. economy.
Biden then talked about how Republicans are trying to limit a president’s ability to drain the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and said, “It’s not going to happen. I’m going to veto the sucker.”
“These aren’t conservatives,” Biden later said adding that this is “not your father’s Republican party.”
“They are disruptive people. They intend to destroy the progress we made,” Biden ranted.
Biden also took a swipe at House Speaker Kevin McCarthy who is trying to negotiate with him about the debt ceiling saying, “If Republicans want to work together to find real solutions … I’m ready. I’m not going to let anyone use the full faith and credit of the United States as a bargaining chip.”
