Ocasio-Cortez Targets McCarthy
Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went on a hate-filled attack against Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy after he remained silent about the attack of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband who ended up in the hospital.
According to The Hill, Ocasio-Cortez snapped at McCarthy and took to Twitter and wrote, “Last year, a GOP Congressman shared a depiction of himself k*****g me. When the House rose to censure, @GOPLeader defended him.”
AOC then wrote, “Yesterday, a man sharing that member’s rhetoric tried to assassinate the Speaker and her spouse. What has @GOPLeader said? Nothing. This is who he is.”

As you likely already know, Speaker Pelosi’s husband was attacked by a man with a hammer. Mr. Pelosi was rushed to the nearest hospital and was treated for bruising, severe swelling and even a fractured skull.
Doctors have told media sources that Paul Pelosi will make a full recovery. Police also reported to the media that when they appeared at the scene of the crime they found both Pelosi and the attacker hold holding the hammer.
Following the attack, former Vice President Mike Pence released a statement saying, “This is an outrage and our hearts are with the entire Pelosi family. We pray Paul will make a full recovery. There can be no tolerance for violence against public officials or their families. This man should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
A number of other top Republicans have also come out and condemned the attack however it appears that Ocasio-Cortez is searching hard to find the Republicans who haven’t.
