Are You Proud To Be An American Under Biden?

Fox News Bans 2024 Republican

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity expressed his disinterest in assisting or engaging with former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a Republican contender expected to announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidential nomination on Tuesday.

According to The Hill, during a discussion on Friday, Hannity made it clear that he has no qualms about providing airtime to any candidate who wishes to express their perspectives on various issues on his show. However, he expressed his belief that Chris Christie is primarily focused on criticizing Trump rather than genuinely pursuing the nomination and winning the upcoming election.

“I’m looking at this and I’m saying, ‘OK, you’re only getting in this race cause you hate Donald Trump and want to bludgeon Donald Trump.’ I don’t see Chris Christie actually wanting to run and win the nomination. He views it as his role to be the enforcer and to attack Trump,” Hannity explained.

After serving as a trusted ally who aided in President Trump’s debate preparations against President Biden during the 2020 presidential campaign, Chris Christie’s opinion of Trump took a downturn. Following the January 6, 2021, insurrection and the broader attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election, Christie’s stance towards Trump soured.

Since that time, Christie has been vocal in his strong criticisms of Trump.

Christie has emerged as one of the most outspoken critics of both the current and potential Republican candidates vying for the nomination against Trump. Last month, he asserted that the only viable path to victory is by confronting and overcoming the influence of the former president.

Additionally, Christie has expressed his belief that Republican voters are unlikely to penalize a candidate for criticizing Trump. He dismisses the concerns of some experts and observers who believe that such criticism would be met with widespread disapproval within the Republican Party.
