First Halle Berry attacks Newsom, now this!

Hollywood legend Lorenzo Lamas is sounding the alarm on California’s collapse under Democratic leadership—and he’s endorsing a pro–law enforcement Republican for governor, saying the state has suffered “devastating” consequences under Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Lamas, a household name from his iconic action roles in the 1980s and 1990s, says he can no longer stay silent as California faces rising crime, homelessness, high taxes, and what he calls years of reckless mismanagement.

And now he’s backing Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco to turn things around.

Lamas Breaks Hollywood Silence: “California Has Been Devastated”

For years, Lamas avoided public political commentary. In Hollywood, speaking against Democrats can cost actors their careers. But he says California’s decline has reached a breaking point.

“The impact on the state with the current administration is nothing short of devastating,” Lamas said.

He added that he feels a responsibility to speak out—not just for California, but for the country.

“We’ve reached a point nationwide where we have to voice what’s wrong,” he explained.

Calling California’s Democrat Rule a “Sickness”

Lamas says California’s problems go far deeper than politics. He described the Democratic grip on the state as “a sickness” that has seeped into every level of government.

Despite being the wealthiest state in America, California can’t keep its streets clean, its communities safe, or its budgets under control.

Lamas pointed to the worsening homelessness crisis and the billions wasted on ineffective programs.

“Where is the money going?” he asked. “Nobody is accounting for the millions spent on welfare and homelessness programs that aren’t helping anyone.”

This kind of oversight failure is exactly what drains state budgets—and drives families out of California.

Wildfires, Red Tape, and Lost Homes

California’s mismanagement hasn’t just hurt taxpayers—it has hit Lamas personally.

He revealed that the wildfire that tore through Pacific Palisades destroyed his childhood home, his school, and much of the community he grew up in.

“Not enough budget was allocated to fighting the fire,” he said.

Even worse, the survivors who lost their homes cannot rebuild because of crippling state bureaucracy.

“It takes years—just to get approval. There’s so much red tape, and Chad wants to eliminate it.”

Why He’s Backing Sheriff Chad Bianco

Lamas says California needs leadership that prioritizes public safety, affordability, and law enforcement—not political games.

“We need a governor who is pro-law enforcement and focused on keeping our moms and daughters safe,” he said.

He noted that he constantly worries about his two daughters who live in Los Angeles.

“I tell them every day to keep their heads on a swivel. Crime is rampant—not just in California, but across the country. It’s sickening.”

Bianco, he said, is the only candidate offering real solutions, not empty political talking points.

Can a Republican Win California? Lamas Says Yes

California hasn’t elected a Republican statewide in nearly 20 years. But Lamas believes the political mood has changed.

He says voters are fed up with high crime, failing schools, exploding homelessness, and the cost of living crisis.

“What I see in Chad is commonsense. That appeals to anyone with half a brain,” Lamas said.

He added that the message voters sent on November 6th—choosing conservative, commonsense policies nationwide—shows the political tide is shifting.

“It’s time California finally votes for commonsense, and Chad Bianco is the only one who can deliver it,” he said.

Newsom’s Team Responds With One Word

When asked about Lamas’ endorsement, Newsom’s spokesperson brushed it off with a single dismissive word:

“Who?”

The response only reinforced what many critics say about Newsom: that he dismisses real concerns and refuses to acknowledge California’s decline.

Bianco Picks Up Major Endorsements

Sheriff Bianco’s campaign is gaining momentum.

Along with Lamas, Bianco has secured endorsements from UFC legends Royce Gracie and Dan Henderson—giving him widespread credibility among law enforcement supporters, first responders, and everyday Californians who are ready for change.
