Liberals hate to see Melania Trump fighting for justice and peace.
First Lady Melania Trump has once again become the target of Hollywood liberals. On Tuesday’s episode of The View, co-host Ana Navarro mocked Mrs. Trump’s heartfelt peace letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling it “hypocritical” and “performative.”
Melania’s Letter for Peace
During last week’s Alaska summit with President Donald Trump, Melania delivered a moving letter to Putin, urging him to end the war in Ukraine for the sake of innocent children.
*“Mr. Putin, you alone have the power to bring back the joyful laughter of children,” Melania wrote. “By safeguarding their innocence, you would be serving not only Russia, but all of humanity.”
Instead of praising her compassion, Navarro twisted the gesture into a political attack, claiming the Trump administration doesn’t care about immigrant families or global aid programs.
Navarro’s Personal Jabs
Navarro doubled down on Instagram, sneering at Melania’s marriage with a cheap shot:
“So Melania, it’s good you write a letter to Putin. Now, how about you write one to the man you sleep with… oh, wait.”
This type of attack, common on The View, has become routine. Co-host Sunny Hostin has even accused Melania of “hating Christmas” and claimed she “wants nothing to do with her husband”—statements many Americans saw as petty and cruel.
A Clear Double Standard
While The View hosts mock Melania Trump, millions of Americans continue to see her as a gracious First Lady who speaks with dignity and heart. Her appeal for peace, especially on behalf of children, shows a compassion absent from her critics’ relentless attacks.
The episode highlights what conservatives have long argued: Hollywood elites and mainstream media outlets refuse to give the Trump family credit, no matter how sincere their efforts.
